Okay, I know this is supposed to be a horse blog, but just in case you (like me) are into bird watching too, check out http://www.briloon.org/watching-wildlife/eagle-cam.php -- a live cam on a pair of nesting Bald Eagles somewhere in Maine. This pair has been extremely successful in the past 13 years, raising 20 chicks! but this year the weather has been nasty, the male eagle has injured his foot, and it has been a real roller-coaster for us watchers! After the eggs were declared "failures" based on observations, the Eagles suprised us all with with a hatchling on Thursday! Wonderful close ups of the eagles (when its not snowing or nightime). Worth taking a look and maybe, like me and it sounds like a lot of other people all over the world, you'll get addicted to Eagle Cam!
